On April 17, the Mitchell Institute for Aerospace Studies was honored to host Air Chief Marshal Sir Richard Knighton, Royal Air Force (RAF) Chief of the Air Staff. Discussion topics included RAF modernization, NATO interoperability, and allied cooperation. These topics and others will be the focus of an upcoming Aerospace Advantage podcast episode featuring Air Chief Marshal Sir Knighton.
The Mitchell Institute is proud of the enduring partnership between the United States Air Force (USAF) and the RAF. This collaboration is particularly important given the growing challenges facing our two nations. Dean of the Mitchell Institute Lt Gen Dave Deptula, USAF (Ret.), remarked, “I’ve served with members of the Royal Air Force throughout my career—whether in an operational or command capacity. The entire Mitchell Institute team greatly appreciates the opportunity to engage with Air Chief Marshal Sir Knighton to discuss the current security environment and how we may work together on future solutions.”
