America 250 - Episode 19

Indiana

This week we visit, Indiana! The Hoosier State played a critical role in wartime production during World War II, including the mass production of Republic Aviation’s P-47 Thunderbolt. On the space side, we learn about some of the 13 NASA Astronauts that call Indiana home, as well as the present-day contributions that Purdue University makes to the nation’s spacepower advantage.
