Background: Lt. Col. Williams was the Commander of the 319th Missile Squadron at Francis E. Warren Air Force Base, Wyoming. As Commander, he ensured squadron crew members and facility managers were properly trained and equipped to accomplish the intercontinental ballistic missile nuclear deterrence and global strike missions. Prior to his role as a Squadron Commander, he served as a Wargame Analyst at the Pentagon, where he formulated and executed analytical wargames for the Secretary of Defense and the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff to assess joint warfighting concepts and capabilities. He has also held various positions including Chief of Advanced Programs at Nellis Air Force Base and Squadron Weapons Officer and Senior Evaluator at Francis E. Warren Air Force Base.

Academic and Professional Titles: Lt Col Williams graduated from the U.S. Air Force Academy with a degree in Behavioral Science in 2008. He holds a master’s degree in Human Services: Executive Leadership from Liberty University and a master’s degree in National Security and Strategic Studies from the U.S. Naval War College. He is a graduate of the Advanced Strategist Program at the U.S. Naval War College and a distinguished graduate of the U.S. Air Force Weapons School.
