Gavin D’Souza is a Research Analyst at the Mitchell Institute for Aerospace Studies

Background: Gavin is originally from Massachusetts and a graduate of Georgetown University. At the Mitchell Institute he supports research activities concerning air power and space power. Before joining the Mitchell Institute, Gavin worked as a Research Associate at the American Enterprise Institute where he supported research on South Asia with a focus on India. He also previously interned with the House Foreign Affairs Committee during his time as an undergraduate student at Georgetown. In his free time, Gavin enjoys flying and recently earned his private pilot’s license.

Areas of Focus: US national security policy, international politics, South Asia and the Indo-Pacific.

Academic and Professional Titles: Gavin graduated summa cum laude from Georgetown University’s Walsh School of Foreign Service where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Foreign Service with a major in international politics. He also holds a Master of Arts in Security Studies from Georgetown.
