The AFA’s Mitchell Institute for Aerospace Studies welcomes Mr. Shawn Barnes, Senior Executive Service Member, Performing the Duties of Assistant Secretary for Space Acquisition and Integration on Aerospace Nation to discuss the future of space acquisition within the Department of Defense. The hour focuses on the startup of the Space Acquisition Council, efforts to improve and better align space acquisition authorities and activities, and the health of the space industrial base.
