This week we are in Washington! The Evergreen State is home to aerospace industry juggernaut, Boeing. Founded in by William Boeing in 1916, the company saw massive growth during World War II, laying the foundation for America’s airpower preeminance during the Cold War and beyond. On the space side, Washington is home to 8 NASA astronauts and boasts an expansive space industry, leading Forbes to dub the state the “Silicon Valley for Space,” in 2016.
